Welcome to Wisconsin Illinois Senior Housing, Inc. (WISH), a group of the finest care facilities in the upper midwest. We take pride in knowing that our people will provide a caring transition from your home to our home — WISH, an extension of your loving home.

Mission Statement

The mission of Wisconsin Illinois Senior Housing (W.I.S.H.) is to serve elderly and disabled individuals by providing quality housing, health care and other services to enhance the lives of
those we serve.

WISH was incorporated in 1994 to operate Fair Oaks Health Care Center, a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Crystal Lake, Illinois. In 1999 it changed its name to WISH and purchased three Skilled Nursing Facilities and one Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded (ICF-MR) in Wisconsin. The following year, a Skilled Nursing Facility in Montello, Wisconsin was gifted to WISH.

In 2007, WISH decided to enter into the Assisted Living arena with the purchase of 6 facilities in 5 communities in Wisconsin.  These continue to operate under the umbrella of Wellington Homes of Wisconsin, which is wholly owned by WISH.

In 2010, WISH constructed a new 14 unit Assisted Living facility on the ground of the Montello facility.  Also that year, it purchased the former Kiwanis Manor in East Troy, WI and renamed it East Troy Manor.

In 2011, WISH purchased Edgerton Care Center in Edgerton, WI and the following year purchased Ingleside Manor Skilled Facility and Inglehaven RCAC in Mt. Horeb, WI.

Consistent with the Board’s commitment to offer quality facilities as well as quality care and services, WISH has embarked on a program to add private rooms, rehabilitation facilities and other upgrades to its existing facilities.  To date, they have invested $2.6M on Geneva Lake Manor, $4.6M on Fair Oaks Health Care Center, $6.6M in upgrades to Edgerton Care Center, and $8M on Holton Manor in Elkhorn.

WISH is a 501(c) 3 Not For Profit Corporation. What that means is that any profits that WISH makes stays within the entity for the benefit of the facilities and their residents. It also means that it is exempt from Federal and State Income Taxes, and that any contributions made to WISH are deductible to the donor as a charitable contribution.

WISH is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who donate their time to the organization.
